Founded over 35 years ago in Northamptonshire, Reindeer Antiques is now one of London’s leading specialists in English antique furniture focusing on Georgian antique furniture.
Reindeer is owned by Peter Alexander who has brought his lifelong passion for antique furniture to the business, enhancing Reindeer’s reputation for quality antique furniture by focusing on pieces which are unique due to their design and patination.
As an undergraduate, Peter studied art history at St. Andrew’s University under the inspiring tutelage of Professor David Jones who first encouraged him to pursue his interests in English furniture. Peter loves to place pieces in their historical context and closely collaborates with specialist print dealers Isaac and Ede and Jason Sandeberg who specialises in antique silver. He is a member of The British Antique Dealers’ Association and can often be seen walking the streets of Kensington accompanied by Herbie, his faithful border terrier.
